OU’s Rabbi Weil to be Palm Beach Scholar-in-Resident, November 18-19
Orthodox Union Executive Vice President Rabbi Steven Weil will travel to Palm Beach to serve as Scholar–in-Residence at Palm Beach Synagogue, for Shabbat November 18-19, Parshat Chayei Sarah. The OU member synagogue is located at 120 North County Road.
At the synagogue’s Friday night dinner, Rabbi Weil will present “The Great Revolutionary Goes Private.” Shabbat morning, Rabbi Weil will discuss, “Bumper Stickers.” After kiddish, he will give a special shiur on “A Historical Blueprint for Jewish History: Ramban’s Analysis of Sefer Bereishit.” Rabbi Weil’s final address for the weekend, during seudat shlishit at the shul, will address “Who Were the Parents of the World’s Wisest Wonder?”
