OU TO PRESENT FINANCIAL WILLS AND ESTATES PLANNING SESSIONS AT TWO AREA SHULS, DECEMBER 7
The Orthodox Union, along with the Young Israel of Southfield and the Young Israel of Oak Park, will present a free communal symposium, Sunday, December 7 at 6:30 PM,“Before Illness Strikes…Financial Wills and Estate Planning, at Young Israel of Southfield, 27705 Lahser Road, in Southfield.
The presenters will be Rabbi Mordechai Willig, Rosh Yeshiva, Rosh Kollel of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, Yeshiva University, Rabbi, Young Israel of Riverdale in New York City, and Dayan, Beth Din of America; and Arthur Weiss, Esq., Jaffe Raitt Heur & Weiss, P.C., a law firm with several locations throughout Michigan.
A question and answer session will follow the speakers’ presentations.
The event’s sponsors are Dr. Jeffrey and Caren Goldenberg, in loving memory of Morris Goldenberg.
Frank Buchweitz, National Director of the OU’s Department of Community Services and Special Projects, declared, “This presentation is an opportunity for an understanding of the importance of halacha in developing a will and protecting assets.
