New York NCSY recently sent a delegation of 40 young leaders from the Greater New York Area to Albany where they met with Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos from Rockville Centre, and Senator Jack Martins, from Elmont. The trip was organized and run by OU National Vice President Charlie Harary, who was recently named liaison to the Orthodox Jewish Community by Senator Skelos.

New York NCSY Associate Regional Director Jonathan Ackerman led the trip to the New York State capital. “The purpose of the trip was to discuss the potential political impact of young Jewish political activists in our community. The teens were shown that they have the power to make a difference and to initiate real tangible change,” he declared.
