OU is Collecting Funds to help
Former Residents of Gaza and Northern Shomron
Donate Online!
The Orthodox Union is collecting funds for former
residents of Gaza and Northern Shomron, both for their short-term needs,
and in order to help them rebuild their lives elsewhere.
In order to identify these needs for us and for those who are donating
through our website, a committee is being formed of representatives of
the various communities. The funds will be disbursed based on their
recommendations.
Many of the families have become dependent—at least temporarily—on the
generosity of others, as they still do not have arrangements for
employment, permanent housing, or schooling for their children. Your
contributions will make a real difference in the quality of their lives.
Meanwhile, the staff of the OU's Seymour J. Abrams
Israel Center in Jerusalem is actively involved in assisting them,
particularly the young people, with programs to help raise their spirits
and to build their confidence for the future.
Contributions may be made through our website, or by sending your check,
