The Orthodox Union, in partnership with the Secure Community Network, the national non-profit homeland security initiative of the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents, is hosting the second annual “Security Awareness Week” from July 8-11 for synagogues and day schools. The purpose of the program is to raise security awareness and provide access to online training programs that will contribute to enhanced security levels at your organizations and facilities.

- Monday, July 8: Security Awareness Week Introductory Conference Call (30 minutes)
Join us for a Security Awareness Week kick-off call with leaders from the OU and SCN.
- Tuesday, July 9: Online Training Workshop (60 minutes)
Workshop: How to develop and implement an emergency security plan.
- Wednesday, July 10: Online Training Workshop (45 minutes)
Security 101: Practical tips to physically harden your facility.
- Thursday, July 11: Security Awareness Week Recap Webinar (60 minutes)
Join us for a recap session, discussion on security “best practices” and an “Ask the Expert” forum with leading security professionals as we conclude “Security Awareness Week”.
