Hey Families of Greater Chicagoland,
Yachad, The National Jewish Council for Disabilities (NJCD), an agency of the Orthodox Union (OU), is dedicated to addressing the needs of all individuals with disables and ensuring their inclusion within the broad Jewish community. Yachad provides social and recreations programming (such as Dreidelpalooza, pottery painting, burgers and bowling just to name a few), as well as shabbatons, summer programs and Birthright trips to Israel to promote their inclusion within OUR community.
Come out and meet YACHAD! Come and join us on April 10th at 8PM at the home of Nicole and Steve Fagan, 9144 Karlov Avenue in Skokie, IL.
Light refreshments will be served. No solicitations will be made. On April 10th, meet a Yachad member and hear first-hand how Yachad has impacted his life and the lives of high school students and adults within our community. Come hear all about our local chapter and how we are serving the greater Chicago Jewish community. Find out what you as a shul, and as a community can do to help Yachad support inclusion. This will be a life changing experience.
