Join Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb’s
new weekly shiur
(Torah class) on prayer at 12:30 pm (EST)
every Thursday on
www.ou.org. Each shiur will
last approximately 30 minutes.
Using a wide range of classic and
contemporary sources,
Rabbi Weinreb will discuss the meaning
of individual prayers, as well as
the whole idea of what prayer is all
about. He’ll explain the structure
of the siddur, how our emotions come
into play, and how we can learn to
appreciate the beauty of
the words themselves. To
follow the shiur, it would be a good idea to
have a siddur in your hand,
preferably one with a linear translation.
