Demand information on Ron Arad and the three MIAs from Operation
Sultan Yakoub - Tsvi Feldman, Zachary Baumel, Yehuda Katz, and Guy
Hever.

Guy Hever |
Feldman, Baumel and Katz have been missing since the tank battle of
Sultan Yakoub in Lebanon in 1982. Contrary to the Geneva Convention,
no information has been forthcoming to their families or their country
regarding their fate.
Guy Hever disappeared in August 1997; he was last seen at his army
base in the southern Golan Heights.
Airman Ron Arad was shot down and captured in Southern Lebanon in
1986. In 1987, Arad's family received several letters and a photo of
Arad confirming that the missing navigator was alive and in Amal's
hands. The ensuing negotiations between Israel and Amal broke off
after Arad was "sold" to Iranian-backed forces. It is believed that
the Iranians still hold key information as to whether he is still
alive and where he might be.
