The Orthodox Union/NCSY is proud to announce:
“The Mikey Shiur”*
Parashat haShavua in a Heimish Atmosphere
A weekly neighborhood shiur, given by Rabbi Yitzchak Etshalom
If you’re interested in in-depth
analysis of the text, learning the methodology of the classical
commentators and being intellectually stimulated and challenged - this
shiur is for you. Rabbi Etshalom will focus on a segment of each week’s
Parashah, utilizing traditional commentaries to deepen our appreciation of
the text.
The shiur will take place at Beth Jacob Beverly Hills
on Tuesdays. The first shiur will be Tuesday, February 17 at 9:15
the topic being Megillat Esther.
Fee per class: $5
(to be donated to victims of terror in Israel and their families).
Bring your own T’nakh.
*The shiur is being given in memory of Mikey Butler of Pittsburgh,
Refael Michael Yitzchok ben Nechama Sarah.
