Jerusalem, Israel (January 23, 2002):- On Wednesday

The 180 participants came from all over the United States in a show
of support for the people of Israel. Rabbi Dr. Tzvi
Weinreb, the Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union said, "The
one main purpose of the OU Solidarity Mission is to inspire and to
motivate the participants to go back to their community and
encourage them to support the people of Israel by visiting the land
of Israel."

Uzi Landau, Minister of Public
Security, briefs the mission on current security issues, including the
shooting on Rechov Yaffa on the previous night and Temple Mount
