Highlights of the OU 106th Anniversary National Dinner

OU President Harvey Blitz and his wife, Judy, were recipients of the OU's Keter Shem Tov (Crown of a Good Name) Award.

Dinner Chairman Emanuel J. Adler welcomed the guests.
   

New Jersey Governor James E. McGreevey declared his strong support for Israel and condemned Palestinian terrorism.

Gov. McGreevey is welcomed by Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb and Mr. Blitz.

Rabbi Weinreb and Mr. Adler presented the Keter Shem Tov Award to Mr. and Mrs. Blitz.
   

President of U.S. Soup, Sauces and Beverages at Campbell Soup Company Larry McWilliams greeted Gov. McGreevey. Campbell received the National Corporate Award.

Rabbi Weinreb presented OU Rabbinic Coordinator Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld with the National Distinguished Rabbinic Leadership Award.

OU Chairman of the Board Stephen J. Savitsky presented the National Kashrut Leadership Award to Senior Vice President of Wakefern Food Corporation Frank Rostan.
   

President of the Rabbinical Council of America Rabbi Kenneth Auman delivered opening remarks.

Jay P. Lefkowitz, recipient of the Distinguished Public Service Award, discussed his service in both Bush White Houses.
