Alan Henry, in his blog LifeHack, speaks about the “20x Rule.” When you do something that really works, say for example – picking up a new member, imagine doing it 20 more times. That vision, seeing your success repeated 20 more times, gives you the fuel to repeat the best practice over and over. So figure what is working or has worked in your synagogue and do it over and over and over. You may have to vary the course you take towards your goal, but stay focused on your objective.
