Items published recently in the Jewish and general media inaccurately reported that Mrs. Smith�s Bakery, owned by Flower Foods, substituted pie crusts made with pork lard for kosher pie crusts and distributed them under the OU symbol. You may be reassured that any Mrs. Smith�s pie crusts sold with the OU symbol were, in fact, kosher.
