Crusts Were Distributed With OU Symbol
Items published recently in the Jewish and general media
inaccurately reported that Mrs. Smith’s Bakery, owned by Flower
Foods, substituted pie crusts made with pork lard for kosher pie
crusts and distributed them under the OU symbol. You may be
reassured that any Mrs. Smith’s pie crusts sold with the OU
symbol were, in fact, kosher.
