Elazar Menachem Mann Shach, zt"l,
passed away after a long illness. The
Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh Yeshiva and spiritual leader of
Lithuanian Jewry, Rav Shach was reportedly 106 years old and
one of the most prominent figures in Orthodox Jewry in the
20th century.
